Morning Routine

In this video we will dive right into what I believe is the ideal Morning Routine. This routine has helped me and so many of my patients with healing from acute and chronic pain.

1. BREATHING

The first thing we want to practice each morning when we wake up is Breathing. Normally we are only using about 20% of our lung capacity. Therefore, it is important for each of us to pay attention to our breath. When we breathe we want to make sure that we are breathing to the diaphragm.

2. WATER

Our body contains 70% of fluids which consists of blood cells, lymphatic and body fluids. I highly recommended each of you drinking between 2-3 cups of water right when you get out of bed. It will help to keep your body hydrated and help to eliminate toxic cells.

3. FOCUS

Use the 10 Sec’ Eyes focus exercise I provided in the video to keep yourself in the HERE and NOW! By eliminating distractions, this technique will help to improve concentration.

4. MEDITATION

Mediation is all about NOTHINGNESS. We want to try to meditate between 5-10 min each day to clear our thoughts and calm down the mind. This will help to reduce our stress levels. Believe me it works.

5. WALK

Get your body moving and go for a 10-15 minute walk. Moving your body, especially in the morning, will help to circulate body fluids and increase blood circulation. Also, it provides a fresh start to the day.

For the next video I will demonstrate exercises for reducing pressure from the lower back.

Stay Tuned.

Cheers, Alon
